Although A Small Group is currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio, we have friends and fellow community members in Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis and many other places. Regardless of your location, we invite you to join us. Please tell us a little about your community (or country, for that matter!).

I guess my small group is Dress for Success (Northland) where we are beginning to have the kind of conversations discussed in the paper 'a Civic Engagement Series'. But it is only the beginning to what my community small group could/will be.

Paid position is Adult and Community Education Coordinator at NorthTec (www.northtec.ac.nz) see the magazine on the front page. Unpaid is President of Dress for Success and executive on 4 ACE network groups as well as coordinator for the 2009 Adult Learners Week in Whangarei. I am a PG student at Waikato Uni in Social Enterprise

What originally brought you to A Small Group? What brought you to this ASG site?

a community meeting some weeks ago and this paper that was an attachment, with the website

With what organizations or groups do you work today?

a huge number across Northland and Rodney (2 regions funded by our government for ACE), DfS, Women's trades groups, mentoring groups, sewing groups, tai chi groups etc

Since I read this paper I have not been able to get its content out of my mind, it fits with where I am at and who I am.
