The idea of recognizing value in small opportunities creates nuggets, gems, and pearls. Little things can be of great value. And who doesn't have a little opportunity in front of him or her right now?

Thanks for the nice comment and the welcome! I am looking forward to learning more about the work ASG is engaged in in Ohio and also sharing about what we're learning through our work with the Grassroots Leadership Initiative and SCOPE here in Florida.

The picture is of me (tall blond on the right) and the GLI Project Coordinator, Stacey Laidlaw. Since Stacey and I work closely together on the GLI program, I figure I can most accurately represent myself visually through my alliance with Stacey ;)

East Walnut Hills/Eden Park

Although A Small Group is currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio, we have friends and fellow community members in Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis and many other places. Regardless of your location, we invite you to join us. Please tell us a little about your community (or country, for that matter!).

From the hilltops of East Walnut Hills/Eden Park it seems that I can almost reach out and touch Downtown Cincinnati as well as the cities of Covington, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Fort Thomas and Highland Heights in Northern Kentucky. From here, along the river valley, I can see Lunken Airport four miles to the east. Another mile or so beyond the airport, I can see the water tower atop Mt. Washington. On a clear day I can see forever; I'm sure I'm seeing much more than I know...
