Although A Small Group is currently based in Cincinnati, Ohio, we have friends and fellow community members in Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis and many other places. Regardless of your location, we invite you to join us. Please tell us a little about your community (or country, for that matter!).
Australia and Melbourne - a country and a city within that that is just on the cusp of geeting the power of community conversation to change things!
What is your work? -- NOTE: all of these Q's may be updated any time and may be as brief or as long as you wish.
Community listerner, facilitator, idea coaxer, connector, weaver...
What originally brought you to A Small Group? What brought you to this ASG site?
I connected by reading Peter Block's books, culminating in the absolutely extraordinary "Community: The Structure of Belonging."
With what organizations or groups do you work today?
I work with Uniting Church in Australia - throught its various congregations and community service agencies - to start conversations with groups beyond the church, not to "take over" those conversations but to affirm places where "spirit" exists and fan its flames in those places.
ASG Questions: Select one to answer below, if you like (or pass - that's always ok):
Why is it important that you're here on this network today?
Your current answer to the selected question (you may update this and other profile items any time):
Francisco Varella said: “There is a great danger if we consider these people (those who recognise the fluidity in every situation and can therefore be highly creative) to be exceptional. They are not ….This state is available to us all, and yet it is the greatest of all human treasures.”

…….and that, quite simply, is why I do what I do and why I join a network where that becomes possible.
Do you have a suggestion for a great question of your own?
When I join with you, what is the new reality we create together that we could not see apart?
LAST QUESTION -- First, a closing note: Thank you for your interest in A SMALL GROUP. Membership is free and open. We do, however, review each new member to be sure that the site is not being abused by spam posters. The more complete your profile, the easier it will be to verify. Your membership will be activated as soon as a moderator can review it. THANKS AGAIN! ------ On to the final item: WHAT IS YOUR WEBSITE ADDRESS?
