What struck me – the energy level was good – only a few small dips. Afterwards, Eric and I talked about how it felt like we (the team) laid out the baseline and Peter improvised and added his wisdom – like jazz.

Learnings for me – to only ask one question at opening and be explicit about why that question.

As part of the design team, I really appreciated that it was a group effort. It seemed to allow each of us to choose our level of responsibility to the whole...to operate in our strength. I was energized by the day - good fellowship - able to love the people who showed up without being distracted by 'worrying' about my next task/role. Having different people share in the role of convener, allowed us to tap into each other's unique way of being in the room.

In talking with Randy about the morning welcome, I would do the connecting before we introduce the music. It seemed like some people experienced the music as entertainment instead of an expression of the intent for the day.

I thought the open space did not have personal dimension enough into it. Too high contrast from morning. Maybe we need to be more intentional about bringing one or two of six conversations into issue discussions. Or organized around projects people are committed to and accountable for.

Overall, thought session was great.
